MAY 14th is it!!!
***OVERNIGHT TRIP- Whitewater rafting will be Saturday***
Meeting at chinatown metro heading to Harpers Ferry!
A kick of to warmer weather, let's go camping! This trip will include white water rafting, and I've picked the easiest course. Let me know ASAP if you're coming, and be prepared to put down a deposit so that I can reserve our place immediately.
We need 10 people minimum to get a discount, so if I don't have 10 people by May 1st I'll let those who have RSVP'd know the breakdown of costs.
Whitewater Rafting the North Branch
Potomac River Dam Release...Guaranteed Excitement!
In the heart of the Potomac Highlands, making for a fantastic day, overnight, or weekend getaway. Rapids are continuous Class II-III+ , and the high water volumes and steeper gradient of the North Branch create waves and rollers up to six feet high. Sections of calm water permit cliff-jumping, relaxation, and swimming. Experienced guides navigate each raft along the scenic seven mile raft trip from Barnum to Bloomington.
All-inclusive Rafting Adventure
Our all-inclusive rafting adventure features:
a delicious barbeque overlooking Jennings-Randolph Lake
guide in each raft
shuttle to and from the river
lifejacket, paddle, helmet
wetsuits (needed on most trips!)
Our guides live for this remote and rockin' white water rafting journey...Join them!
COSTS:

Camping only $15/night Friday and Saturday nights = $30
White Water Rafting $80 (if we have less than 10 people $85/pp)
Pot Luck: this will be discussed later, who's bringing what
Total: $110
Pet's are welcome as are significant others. Unfortunately no kiddos, sorry parents!
Please indicate if you have a *tent*, and how many you can accommodate
Also let me know if you have a car and will be willing to drive and how many others you can fit comfortably with gear

sleeping bag
tent (or buddy up with people who have tents)
bug spray
warm sweats to sleep in
bathing suit for white water rafting
a good attitude
and a hankerin for s'mores!
After you click "I'm in" please email me at KatMCassidy@gmail.com and I will send over an invoice for your deposit. Deposits will only be returned if the event is canceled, so please be sure you're in before you commit! Sorry I can't use my money to vouch for strangers from the internet. *shrug*
